JustGiving is the world’s fastest growing social platform for giving, helping causes to reach more people, inspire more action, and ultimately raise more money.
We are excited to announce that in the past 12 months, more than $100 million has been given to good causes as a result of our integration with Facebook. It’s an extremely powerful demonstration of how people are using our technology to show they care.
With Facebook, we:
- Allowed people to share easily by adding Open Graph tags to our site and app
- Used Facebook Login to make registration easy
- Encouraged sharing by including call to actions within the JustGiving app
Whether it’s running a marathon, posting a no-make up selfie or taking part in an ice bucket challenge, fundraising is all about asking for your friends’ support. JustGiving chose to integrate with Facebook to help fundraisers reach even more of their friends and inspire them to get involved.
Facebook is now JustGiving’s number one referrer, driving more than 40% of all traffic from 164 different countries.
JustGiving has in turn driven 905 million stories to Facebook over the past 12 months, benefiting more than 10,000 causes and effectively doubling each charity’s reach on Facebook, helping them to raise the equivalent of an extra $10,000 per cause.
Our integration with Facebook is helping fundraisers all over the world reach more, inspire more and raise more for the causes they care about. We couldn’t be more proud.
