This month, we celebrated our twelfth birthday. A lot has changed since 2004, but some things have remained the same: we are constantly blown away by the ways people and organizations use Facebook – not just to connect, but to make an impact in their communities and around the world.
This is especially true of nonprofits, who inspire us every day by raising awareness about their causes, activating supporters and raising the funds they need to support their organizations. We want to help nonprofits use Facebook more effectively to achieve these goals, so today we’re launching a new website geared specifically to nonprofits with detailed product information and examples.
At nonprofits.fb.com, organizations will find information on how to:
- strengthen their Facebook presence
- leverage the platform to reach their goals
- effectively use our tools
- find success stories and best practices
We hope this website will serve as a valuable resource for nonprofits, regardless of their size, focus, or location. This is just the next step in our efforts to build tools and products to empower our global community to do even more good on Facebook. We can’t wait to see what this community does next.
