Since rolling out Facebook Live to people and publishers around the world, we’ve seen incredible adoption and engagement with the new format.

We’ve been inspired by the creativity we’ve seen so far, and with this weekly series, we’ll highlight some interesting Facebook Live videos from the past week.

Here are 10 standout live videos:

 1. Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson held his third installment of “Fan Mail Fly-By,” a series in which he opens and reads fan mail live on Facebook and answers questions from viewers in real-time.

 

2. The Arizona Republic announced its historic editorial board presidential endorsement of Hillary Clinton as part of their Facebook Live elections series.

 

3. Shonda Rhimes hosted a Facebook Live Q&A with fans, taking questions about her memoir Year of Yes, her shows Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal, and much more.

 

4. American golfer Dustin Johnson used Facebook Live to give viewers unique access to his practice range session at the Ryder Cup.

 

5. Full Frontal with Samantha Bee went live with the first act of the show, providing commentary around the first presidential debate.

 

6. Miami’s WSVN-TV shared special coverage of the funeral procession for athlete Jose Fernandez of the Miami Marlins via Facebook Live.

 

7. NASCAR driver Kyle Busch went live from The White House after he was honored by President Barack Obama for winning the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series title.

 

8. In the latest installment of his Facebook Live series, Live From the Great Room, Andrew Bird and Fiona Apple covered Bob Dylan and played a new song.

 

9. National Geographic used Facebook Live to capture a snuggle of lions in the Djuma Nature Reserve in South Africa, inviting viewers to comment with questions for the safari experts on the scene.
