Since rolling out Facebook Live to people and publishers around the world, we’ve seen incredible adoption and engagement with the new format.

We’ve been inspired by the creativity we’ve seen so far, and with this weekly series, we’ll highlight some interesting Facebook Live videos from the past week.

Here are 10 standout live videos:

 1. BBC News went live behind the scenes during the airing of its daily flagship BBC News at Six TV broadcast.

 

2. FOX Soccer‘s Rachel Bonnetta went live from the sidelines during the penalty kicks that decided the MLS Cup champion, capturing fan reaction and helping drive tune-in for the FOX telecast.

 

3. The cast of The Fate of the Furiousincluding Vin Diesel, Dwayne The Rock Johnson, Tyrese Gibson and Michelle Rodriguez, used Facebook Live for a fan show from Times Square followed by a trailer debut.

 

4. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association broadcast the 2017 Golden Globe nomination announcements live on their Facebook Page.

 

5. NBC used Facebook Live to stream a companion show to their broadcast musical Hairspray Live, hosted by Darren Criss.

 

6. Will Smith visited Facebook HQ and sat down for a Live Q&A with Facebook’s Global Director of Diversity, Maxine Williams, to talk about his new film, Collateral Beauty.

 

7. Fox 11 Los Angeles used Facebook Live as Star Wars landed a X-wing fighter on Hollywood Boulevard in preparation for the premiere of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”

 

8. The Heisman Trophy went live from Facebook New York as the award’s finalists sat down for a Q&A hours before Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson was named college football’s top player.

 

9. PopSugar Celebrity broadcast the reveal of their holiday gift guide and giveaway on Facebook Live.

 

10. Bleacher Report went live from the “Gold Carpet” at Notre Dame Football‘s season-ending awards show, delivering a unique broadcast that featured touchdown celebration dance-offs, boxing matches with jumbo gloves, and player interviews.
